I’m often asked what kind of event my china is used for, and I reply all sorts of tea party type events big or small, where people choose to use the tea ware, with all the beautiful colours and patterns, to enhance their tables. This includes all of life’s special milestones. From baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, birthdays, retirements, funerals, office shouts, networking events, product promotions, photo shoots, anniversaries, centenaries and of course Mother’s Day events. That’s what I love most about what I’m doing. It’s always different and I never know what’s just around the corner but one thing I do know, is using the china tea ware at their event, whatever it is, seems to make people very happy.

One very memorable event was for a lady who had never had a birthday party in her life. She reached a particular milestone and decided she was going to celebrate by treating all of her family and friends to a fabulous party. She hired a marvelous venue with chandeliers and all. As well as a dinner and dance, guests were being treated to a lavish afternoon tea to start the proceedings. This is where The China Cabinet came in. We were asked to deliver to the venue in the North Island, and loving a road trip we were very happy to oblige. I’m happy to say not one piece of china got broken on that trip and I still treasure the thank you letter from that lovely lady, saying how we had helped to make her birthday very special.
